Waxing Do’s
Do: Use sun block after waxing if exposing skin to sun within 24 hours to avoid a sunburn and hyper-pigmentation. We recommend Epicuren X-Treme Cream 45spf.
Do: allow plenty of time before “special Occasions” to allow for any unanticipated circumstances, breakouts, etc.
Do: Make us aware if you are using any of the following: Retin-A, Differin, Glycolic Acid, Renova, Salicylic Acid, Avage, Scrub, Avita, Strevetin, Tazorac, Pro-Active, Benzoyle Peroxide, of any other topical prescription or oral medication that may affect the outcome of your waxing service.
Waxing Don’ts
Don’t: Apply body oily of moisturizer before waxing service.
Don’t: Expose waxed area to excessive heat such as: the sun, hot tubs, sauna, suntan booths or extreme heat for 24 hours.
Don’t: Deodorant contain alcohol and should not be applied to newly waxed underarms.
Don’t: Wait 1 week before applying any facial scrubs.
Don’t: Wax during the use of Accutane, after Laser Resurfacing or Chemical Peels.
